Paulo Serôdio is with the School of Economics of the University of Barcelona, where he's leading a project funded by the Independent Social Research Foundation. He has previously held research positions at the D'Amore-Mckim School of Business of Northeastern University, at Brasenose College, as a William Golding Junior Fellow, and at the Sociology Department of the University of Oxford. Paulo holds a PhD in Political Economy from the University of Essex and his research looks broadly at lobbying and corporate influence, political dynamics of natural disasters and democratic transition. His methodological interests lie with network science, natural language processing and automated text analysis. Paulo is currently a visiting researcher at the Centre des Sociologie des Organisations of Sciences Po.
