On the 19th of October Foteini Kalantzi participated in the panel discussion 'International Politics of Migration in times of crisis and uncertainty' organised by the working of group 'International Politics of Migration, Refugees and Diaspora' of the British International Studies Association.
In her presentation she explored the ways securitization discourses and practices during the pandemic differ from those in previous times of crises and elaborated on how prolonged times of uncertainty have affected crisis governance.
